| The elusive pleasures of Thai traditional elegance and calm are rarely found to this degree. Away from the crowds of Phuket is a true sanctuary of Thai style: Mom Tri's Villa Royale. An intimate hotel for travellers who want a genuine cultural experience and to never forget they are in Thailand. This boutique hotel’s name echoes its royal heritage. It was once the private holiday villa of Mom Luang Tridhosyuth Devakul (better known as Mom Tri), a renowned Thai architect and descendant of King Mongkut Rama IV. Set on a hillside just above Kata Noi Beach, a private path from the hotel leads t o the beach where guests can enjoy the classic white sand and turquoise water. Views of the sea are enjoyed from most areas of the hotel. All Suite Rooms, also known as the Beach Wing Suites, face the sea and enjoy sea views. They are comfortable, spacious and have a balcony or terrace to enjoy the view. Three swimming pools can be found also overlooking the sea with a choice of freshwater or seawater. There are only 35 rooms in total which add to the personalized feeling of this boutique hotel. Every exquisite detail, furnishing, food, service and atmosphere at Mon Tri's is a testament to its heritage of comfort and pleasure. The wine cellar has won Wine Spectator magazine’s Award of Excellence. Mon Tri’s relaxed, breezy dining is famed for inspired gourmet innovations and sea views. |
